From Seville to the Spanish hospitality sector
The idea for Qamarero was born from the experience of Antonio Bustamante, the company's CEO, during his time as a partner at the Seville hospitality group «Puerto de Cuba». Antonio noticed the lack of efficient technology solutions connecting the guest directly to the order and payment process. In 2022, taking advantage of the rise of QR codes, digital payments and democratised access to hardware, he launched Qamarero to close the technology gap in Spanish hospitality, which represents nearly 5% of the country's GDP.
